Employers manage the Chicago Card Plus Program by:

Initial Steps (for employers without third-party administrators)
|

If your company uses the services of a third-party administrator, you may want to read the
Third-Party Administrator Monthly Administration section.

If your company decides after enrollment to use a third-party administrator, please submit the
New TPA Form.
- On the Employer Enrollment Form you must designate an administrator. Upon enrollment, the administrator will receive an e-mail notifying him or her of the account username and password.
- The administrator should log on to the employer account and change the system-generated password to one that is easily remembered.
- Only one logon is available per employer.

Every Month
|

- The employer administrator must log on to www.chicago-card.com and submit the online order form during the update window. This occurs between the 5th and 15th of every month. Please note: Even if there are no changes to employees’ deductions, the order form MUST be submitted each month.
- During the update window, the employer administrators can change employee pre-tax dollar amounts, suspend or cancel employees and note replacement fee amounts that can be added to employee deductions or paid by the employer.
- If payment is made via an ACH pre-authorized debit, the CTA will execute this transaction shortly after the close of the update window. Payment via company check requires the check to be postmarked and mailed no later than the 15th of the month to ensure that employees receive timely deposits in the accounts. - The employer administrator will have access to previous month's updates through the reports section of the online account.

Key things to note

- Chicago Card Plus RTA/CTA Transit Benefit Program orders should NOT be submitted through the traditional RTA/CTA Transit Benefit ordering process. Please administer the program as outlined above for Chicago Card Plus.
- Employers with third-party administrators will receive an account username and password in order to view summary reports but will not be able to make changes to employee elections.
