You must change, cancel, suspend or reactivate your pre-tax reload amount through your employer. Your fare choice can be changed when logged on to your account.

Key things to note:
Pre-tax dollars applied to your account are valid for 12 months from the date they were posted to your account. No refunds will be issued.

The maximum value that can be held on your Chicago Card Plus is $300. Reloading via a pre-tax payroll deduction will be suspended if your account value reaches $300. The suspension will be lifted once your account value falls below $300. You will receive an e-mail notifying you of this suspension when it occurs.

Your credit card will be charged only if your balance falls below $0. The charge will include all fares that occurred once the balance fell below $0, plus $10, which will be immediately available for future fare payment.
