Touch the Chicago Card to the bus farebox or rail turnstile and go.


Easy to Reload
You can add value to your Chicago Card at any CTA vending machine or any Touch-n-Go locations. The limit which can be stored on a Chicago Card at any one point is $300.


Easy to Replace
By registering your Chicago Card you can protect its value against theft or loss. For a $5 replacement fee, CTA will send you a new card, complete with the value that was on your original card when you reported the loss. Registration is free, easy, and well worth the few seconds it takes.
